Battle for Middle Earth 2 is the sequel to The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle Earth from Electronic Arts, who possess the rights to this Tolkien saga, recreating it in miniscule detail and high realism:



In the game you fight bloody battles in the North, or control one of the races of Middle Earth: humans, dwarfs, orcs, elves, etc. You can even fight on the side of evil with monsters and foul creatures, in places like Dol Guldur, Mirkwook or the Misty Mountains. The power is in your hands: use dragons, provoke volcanic eruptions or invoke natural disasters in your heroic labour:

* Command any race in Middle Earth, including new races never before seen.

* In Solo Campaign mode you have to win the battle for the North, with new places and stories.

* Total command and control. Build edifices and forts, characters etc. Control battles with a new and improved artificial intelligence, melés, combats etc. Tactics never before seen.

* Control strategic units like never before: formations, combat lines, strategic planning...

* You can build almost any part. Thus you can increase your buildings in places to increase your strength.

* Global war development in a Risk-style metagame on a mapamundi.

* Extend the battlefield forever, including naval battles.
